SKILL Members

 

The mission of SKILL is to create and cultivate long-term relations between  Slovak and Israeli academic community. Fourteen reputable Israeli scientists and researchers of Slovak origin or professional background feature amongst the founding members of the Society. Joseph Klafter, president of Tel Aviv University, accepted the honor to become the first president of the society.

Society is open to new members who can actively support our mission and objectives.

He is a President of EAI, Founding President Create-Net, Bruno Kessler Professor at University of Trento.

His research interests are Wireless, Optical and Mobile Systems.

Robert Fonod, Ph.D.

He is an Assistant Professor at Faculty of Aerospace Engineering, 
Delft University of Technology.

His research interests are Cooperative Guidance and Estimation for Aerial Vehicles, Fault Diagnosis, Fault Tolerant Control, and Nonlinear Filtering.

Raanan Rein, Ph.D.

Founding member


He is Elías Sourasky Professor of Latin American and Spanish History and Vice President of Tel Aviv University.

His research interests are Modern Latin America, Populist movements, Argentine society and politics, Jews in the Spanish speaking world, Ethnic minorities in Latin America, immigration and collective identities, and 20th century Spain.

He is a Lecturer of French literature at Department of Romance and Latin-American Studies, Hebrew University of Jerusalem.

He is an Associate Professor (retired) at Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Technion - Israel Institute of Technology.
